Serving the Vulnerable in Our Community

We believe everyone has the right to food, clothing, safety, shelter, and enrichment, regardless of their circumstances. A network of over 70 diverse social programs, Family & Community Services provides life’s essential needs to the most vulnerable in our community.

Whether you’re a veteran, a survivor of domestic violence, homeless, in debt, or experiencing a situation that’s unique to you, our program staff is dedicated to providing you with the support you need.

BASIC NEEDS

Everyone has the right to food, clothing, and shelter. That’s why we provide hot meals, food assistance and clothing, as well as emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing.

Safety & Support

For those in abusive relationships, we provide emergency shelter, 24/7 support, and legal advocacy. We also specialize in safe exchanges and visitations for families impacted by violence or conflict.

Transportation

We provide door-to-door transportation for those who are elderly or disabled, helping them get to medical appointments, adult day centers, and other critical commitments they may have.

Counseling & Recovery

We offer mental and behavioral health support through our counseling programs, including individual and group counseling, case management, and recovery assistance from substance use.

Enrichment

We offer enriching opportunities for all ages including mentoring, volunteering, and educational programming. From our senior centers to our youth programs, there’s something for everyone.

Help Us Care For Our Community

Family & Community Services’ work would not be possible without help from our dedicated supporters. If you feel a social responsibility to help those in your community, come volunteer at one of our programs, check out our current donation needs, or sign up to provide recurring financial support.
