Place of Peace
Place of Peace provides a safe environment to conduct supervised visitations and safe exchanges for families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, child abuse, or conflict during exchanges.Â
We serve families that are in need of supervised visits or exchanges. Referrals may be made from many places, such as Domestic Relations Court, Juvenile Court, Child Protective Services, or attorneys. Self-referred cases are also considered.Â

Please note all supervised visits and exchanges are by appointment only.Â

WHO WE SERVE
Before services can begin, both parties must voluntarily contact our center and schedule an orientation by calling 330-296-4522. Once the orientation is completed by both parties separately, the services will be scheduled.
SAFE EXCHANGE
Children are dropped off and picked up at predetermined times to assure that parents will have no contact with one another during the exchange of their children. This entails a 15-minute window between drop-off and pick-up.
SUPERVISED VISITATION
This service benefits families who are required to have their visits supervised by an independent party. The visiting parent and child(ren) stay at our safe and secure location while a staff member observes their visitation.
FEES
We require the noncustodial parent or the respondent in the civil protection order to pay our nominal fee. The fee is $10 a month for exchanges, $20 an hour for a closely supervised visitation, and $10 for an open visitation.
CURRENT NEEDS
If you would like to donate to Place of Peace, we are always in need of new, still-packaged toys. We are not permitted to accept any used items, but we appreciate you thinking of us.
You can also help further our mission by volunteering or making a monetary donation. Thank you in advance for your support.
