Kent, Ohio – The Henry V. and Frances W. Christenson Charitable Foundation awarded a grant in the amount of $4,446 to Miller Community House for the addition of a play set. Miller Community House is a program of Family & Community Services, Inc.
Miller Community House provides emergency shelter and supportive services to men, women and children experiencing a housing crisis. The award will be used to establish a play set in the back yard to be used by the children served by the shelter.
“Last year, 80 to 90 children came through our doors. This play set will help us make a comfortable home for these kids. We are very grateful to have the support of the Henry V. and Frances W.
