Workers at the Center of Hope were able to do much more than feed one local family. This fall they were able to help two teenagers have a real-life Cinderella story. Their family has fallen on very hard times and has been receiving groceries from the center. The father hasn’t been able to work because of medical reasons and the mother has to be home to take care of him. They have two children, both in high school, and they needed outfits to wear to their high school homecoming dance, but the family simply couldn’t afford to purchase clothes. With help from Anne Marie Noble, the director of the Center of Hope, fellow workers at the center, and the Sister Jordan Fund, the mother was able to purchase attire for her teens. They were finally able to have their moment in the spotlight thanks to the generous donations from the community.
