WHAT WE DO

Housing and Emergency Support Services (HESS) provides a number of resources to provide the maximum amount of support for families and individuals experiencing a crisis. Call us for assistance if you have received an eviction notice, need information and assistance to access community resources, are homeless or need support to resolve your housing emergency.

HESS staff works with families and individuals to assist them in creating long term solutions that increase stability. They do this by providing:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Short-term case management
  • Coordination of supportive services based on individual and family needs
  • Temporary financial assistance
ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility is based on funding requirements set forth by local, state, and government entities. It is determined by:

  • Funding availability
  • Emergent need
  • Residency
  • Income guidelines
  • Prior assistance

Program Mission

To ensure that all families who are experiencing a crisis which threatens their well-being will receive the services needed to stabilize and resolve the crisis.
