Ravenna, Ohio – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Portage County, a program of Family & Community Services, is proud to present their 2019 Jingle Bell Calendar Raffle. Tickets are $10 each and must be purchased by November 26th. They will be good for the entire month of December. Each day in December, 1st – 30th, a $50 cash prize will be given away and on December 31st, the prize will be $500! Winning numbers are based on the Pennsylvania 3-digit daily evening drawing. Most children Big Brothers Big Sisters serves live in single-parent and low income families, or households where a parent is incarcerated. All the children served are facing adversity of some kind. Through referrals from schools and other social service agencies, we identify children who need early intervention to avoid falling behind and dropping out. Big Brothers Big Sisters gives children skills that increase their chances of graduating from high school, achieving academic success, setting higher goals and staying out of trouble once the school day has ended.
