WHO WE ARE

Summit County Veteran Family Services helps families overcome immediate barriers to achieving or maintaining self-sufficiency through the Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) program.

We are funded by Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and monitored by Summit County Job and Family Services.

WHAT WE DO

We provide:

  • Rapid re-housing services
  • Homeless prevention services
  • Case management
  • Temporary financial assistance
  • Landlord mediation
  • Income support services
  • Budgeting resources
  • Healthcare refferals
  • Referrals to local resources

Eligibility for enrollment:

  • Summit county residency
  • Veteran with at least one minor child
  • Homeless or at risk of becoming homeless
  • Low income (200% federal poverty limit)
